Foo Cheung is a photographer who runs his own photography business and works freelance. One of my great passions in life is photography, I like to captured images through the medium of film in much the same way that writers, painter, poets, and musicians seek to elicit feelings in their respective media.

Though originally trained as a molecular biologist and bioinformatics and currently a staff scientist at JCVI , I have been involved in photography since childhood.

My fiance Frances is also an experienced photographer who is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, she has numerous photographic awards and her photos can be found in a wide range of publications See Frances' Media Projects

We photograph weddings, events, and portraits working in both color and black & white, our photojournalistic style is modern and distinctive with a timeless, classical edge.

We are partners and volunteers for the Montgomery County Humane Society and Asian Heritage Foundation

My recent accomplishments include front page cover of the Washington Post Magazine 5th April 2009 Edition in addition to photos being published inside the content page and inside story page.

All proceeds from the Washingon Post Magazine shoot has been donated back to The National Zoo.
